Clockwork angels are clockwork creatures that resemble angels and are constructed around a spark of life harnessed from Creation's Forge, which boosts their potency and imbues them with artificial life. A clockwork angel stands seven feet tall and weighs 450 pounds. Clockwork angels are usually built in accord with divine agencies to serve as defenders of holy sites, sometimes ironically with clockwork fiends, but are not intrinsically good: many evil religions enjoy constructing clockwork angels with grisly, blasphemous additions to defend their temples.1[citation needed]

On Golarion

Xiomorns of the Vault of the Onyx Citadel employed clockwork angels among their defenses.2 A clockwork angel also defended the Tomb of the First Emperor in Taldor3
