Crusader War College
The Crusader War College was located in the outer bailey of the Castle Overwatch in Vigil.1 Vigil was destroyed by Tar-Baphon's deployment of the Radiant Fire in 4719 AR, forcing the college's surviving staff to flee.2
History
The college developed strategy, tactics, and the art of battle in its students. Crusaders were trained not only in the use of sword and shield but also in more exotic skills, from magic to siege warfare. Cavalry training at the war college was some of the finest in Avistan.1
Regardless of specific vocation, warriors trained here were taught how to overcome Lastwall's numerically superior foes, even when as a position's lone defender.34

The college was divided into several specialized schools, each run by a Precentor Martial:4
- Battlemage Academy
- Led by Veena Heliu.2
- Cavalry Academy
- Garrison and Siege School
- Infantry School
- Scouting School
