This article covers the supernatural weather phenomenon. For the Jade Regent Adventure Path volume, see The Hungry Storm.

Morozkos, or hungry storms, are strong blizzards first reported in the Crown of the World and deep Icemark of Golarion's far northern reaches.12

They are named after a druid who encountered one and described it as a storm driven by a malevolent intelligence. Beyond ice and wind, these blizzards include an unnatural cold accompanied by strange sounds, such as shrieks and cries.1

Morozkos occur randomly throughout the year. In the past morozkos happened only in the Crown of the World, but in the last century they have appeared increasingly further south.1 In 4711 AR, this encroachment was found to be a plot of the half-fiend sylph Katiyana, who used monoliths infused with power of Sithhud to manipulate the storms.3
