Nghiem is a particularly violent and fecund ettin who rules over the Ruins of Maiaji in the southern reaches of the nation of Hongal. While theoretically Nghiem owes his loyalty to the rulers of Chu Ye, in reality he is an aspiring warlord who dreams of building his own kingdom. A key part of this dream is Nghiem's progeny, at last count Nghiem boasts over four hundred sons and has lost count of how many daughters he has had. Nghiem's ambitions are drawing him ever closer to conflict with the ruler of Hongal, Kiriltai Khan.
