Numerian Tinkerers

From PathfinderWiki

Numerian Tinkerers are a ratfolk heritage who, as their name suggests, are inveterate tinkerers and inventors.1

Appearance

In appearance Numerian Tinkerers look quite similar to Avistan's most numerous ysoki ancestry, the Drumish Dasher, except that they tend to have more mottled, patchy fur. They are also renowned for having particularly bright eyes.1

Society

Numerian Tinkerers are named for Numeria, the nation where they are most common. The kingdom is filled with unleashed alien menaces and the still-dangerous scattered remnants of a crashed starship. Surrounded by such potent threats, Numerian Tinkerers have taken to technology and invention as the best way to even the odds.

The average Tinkerer moves endlessly between projects, whether innovating a new technology, scavenging hidden alien objects, or concocting new defenses for their homes. Numerian Tinkerers are very protective of their warrens, particularly the de facto "capital" of Chitterhome, and instead of allowing others access they often travel to Numeria's marketplaces selling their restored alien tech.

Numerian Tinkerers have innovated significant developments in medicine, alchemy, and all branches of alien studies, and their exposure to alien technology also causes them to birth an unusually large number of sorcerers.1
