Ostogsaga

From PathfinderWiki

The Ostogsaga is an epic work of song and verse by the skald Hakon about the improbable and ongoing exploits of his brother, the adventurer and Linnorm King Ostog the Unslain. The saga is set to traditional northlands folk music, and the spaces it leaves for improvisation make it more epic and less reliably factual with each retelling.

While the Ostogsaga makes for a rousing performance, scholars prefer the 4715 AR biographical Account of Ostog the Unslain, authored by Ostog's adventuring companion Styrian Kindler.1
