Taking this opportunity to say that I approve of the proposed guideline. — Yoda8myhead (talk) 21:27, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- Ditto from me and a thank you to Oznogon. We'd need to update this page for U/next if U is to be superseded - we don't want both, I presume. --Fleanetha (talk) 21:44, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- We can prefer one or the other, but I'm OK with staying with {{U}} while we test out {{U/next}}, and they're close enough in invocation that the bot should be able to handle converting from one to the other if necessary. -Oznogon (talk) 01:37, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Yoda8myhead and User:Fleanetha for the proposal feedback. I plan to begin moving {{U}} and Product/Fiction Task content to the Meta namespace via bot on Monday (Nov. 4) barring any further opposition to this proposal or the plan at Special:WikiForum/Deleting_/meta_pages. -Oznogon (talk) 23:28, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- Due to the scale of the task, having a lot more time today than I would on Monday, and no opposition to the plan, I've moved the {{U}} and Task content to Meta. -Oznogon (talk) 00:26, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- All agreed so far and this is a guideline stating what we do already so I propose a week's further comment (to 12 December 2019) then we formalise Oznogon's great efforts. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:09, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- I propose to add a note about using U/next to the page too, on acceptance, so people are aware of the alternative unless anyone has strong objections. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:12, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
No new comments forthcoming and all previous being positive, this is now an official guideline. Thank you Oznogon for leading on this. --Fleanetha (talk) 15:39, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
