Spire of Alistonach

The Spire of Alistonach is a mysterious location in the depths of Hell's second-deepest level of Caina. A portal known as the Shattergate connects the spire to fell Xin-Grafar in the depths of the Isle of Terror, the home of the Whispering Tyrant. It is unknown why Tar-Baphon had a portal to the depths of Caina, but it is protected by a grid of adamantine bars and sealed with a web of chains. Despite these defenses, however, something from Caina seems to have squeezed through.
