Volume 6 Chronology
Given the suspected nature of the Pathfinder Chronicles' fifth volume, the inclusion of text from Durvin Gest in the subsequent volume is confusing. Perhaps his reports on the Scepter of Ages were published posthumously (or at least post-disappearance). — Yoda8myhead (talk) 10:09, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Schedule
Gamemastery Guide (2E) states that the Chronicles are published quarterly in a sidebar on pg. 217. This is contradicted in multiple other sources of the same tier, including newer sources more specific to the subject like the Pathfinder Lost Omens Pathfinder Society Guide, stating that they are published irregularly.
The conflict is unofficially resolved by using the more specific Lost Omens Pathfinder Society Guide. -Oznogon (talk) 21:28, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
Volume numbering
The Lost Omens Pathfinder Society Guide states on pg. 11 that "the Society has published a total of 39 volumes of the Pathfinder Chronicles." There are known and significant volumes numbered higher than 39, including those cited in sources of the same or higher tier.
This conflict is unresolved; there might be volume numbers that were skipped, volumes that have been retracted might not count toward this total, or volumes might not be numbered linearly. -Oznogon (talk) 21:28, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
Burnt Offerings 85 describes the expedition to Xanthuun as being depicted in volume 23 of the Pathfinder Chronicles. Subsequent publications, such as Lost Kingdoms 32 and Seekers of Secrets 42, describe the expedition as being depicted in volume 13. PathfinderWiki uses volume 13 per the more recent sources. -Oznogon (talk) 22:17, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

Burnt Offerings 85 states that Iorae's exploits were published in Volume 56 of the Pathfinder Chronicles. Later works consistently refer to these events being published in Volume 36. See Talk:Shevala Iorae/Conflicts. -Oznogon (talk) 23:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
