Citing sources
It's probably in the article's best interest to cite sources for the announcement of each round's winners, disqualifications, recusals, and the like. In future years, people may want to see more details about the circumstances or verify the different rounds' contestants. We've typically cited news and message board posts whenever possible in past years.—
