Watch for change [COMPLETED]

Per The Reaper's Right Hand p. 69, "Thamir's surname always matches that of Absalom's current Primarch". Per Lost Omens World Guide, Lost Omens Character Guide, and The Absalom Initiation, Gyr of House Gixx is technically still Primarch, but is missing; Wynsal Starborn is the Acting Primarch as of at least 4719 AR and potentially as far back as 4716 AR. -Oznogon (talk) 03:26, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Lost Omens Gods & Magic only uses the given name Thamir to refer to this god. Perhaps this page could be moved to simply 'Thamir', as it is the only constant part of the god's name. - HTD (talk) 03:23, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
In any case, with Lord Gyr missing and the Primarch seat vacant, the name Thamir Gixx is no longer used. There's a non-zero chance that another person might become Primarch of Absalom in a future publication, which will necessitate another page move; either we do that every time there's a new Primarch, or remove the (constantly-changing) surname from the article name altogether. In either case, the name Thamir Gixx is now outdated. - HTD (talk) 15:12, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
I think a move to Thamir is a good idea, HTD, just leaving a redirect from 'Thamir Gixx', supported by the existing explanation in the text to avoid confusion. For completeness, the category structure and 'images of...' also need amending plus appearances in portals and navboxes. --Fleanetha (talk) 10:05, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Job completed to convert to 'Thamir' from 'Thamir Gixx' after several, completely predicted, broken links were abandoned. --Fleanetha (talk) 15:55, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
