Secrets of Magic
In my pdf, page 238 of Secrets of Magic starts the chapter about Thassilonian rune magic. The exact quotation you use is on p. 244, which I corrected last night. Later, you reverted to the incorrect page number with no explanation and added it to the major reference in the References section too. I also note that in my version the Fragmentary Names sidebar is on p. 247, which looks like the source for your new material, but you have labelled it as p. 244. Please check and explain. Do we have different versions of the book (this has happened before with inconsistency of page numbering between the pdf and the published version but it is very rare and, in such situations, we try to note this to avoid confusion.) --Fleanetha (talk) 10:50, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
Golomas
In the sourcebook The Mwangi Expanse, the goloma ancestry's single paragraph about goloma names unfortunately does not mention magic or souls, leaving the text's meaning open to ambiguity. This PFWiki article interprets the paragraph to be referring to the metaphysical concept of true names, so on this Talk page I would just like to briefly note the possibility that when that paragraph uses the phrase "true names", it might be using the normal English adjective "true" to refer to non-magical names given in the Goloma language. Likewise, when the Goloma article discusses this lore, it currently does not hyperlink to the [True name] article. --Descriptivist (talk) 22:09, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
