Again, welcome and have fun! — Fleanetha (talk) 13:25, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Welcome

Well you really have dived in and got editing quickly - brava. Thanks so much for this and for already finding some errors and omissions and making the wiki better. I can see some of the things you are trying and will attempt to help a little: --Fleanetha (talk) 17:57, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

  • Have a look at this page, ship, as it may already be close to what you want for a page about types of ship and I like your idea for roles on a ship too as an extension.
  • You have spotted already that we have two types of index on this wiki: one is an XXX/Index page and the other resides on the actual book's page. To avoid confusion, the former is our old style, which we used up until last year when we replaced it with 'inline' indices. You can see the evolution here if you are interested: Forum:Inline indexes?. There is a help page for creating the new style of index here: Help:Creating an index. If you want to convert any old style index to the new style then that would be really useful and helpful.
  • To save time, you needn't put underscore symbols into the links you are making to pages on this wiki so [[The Wormwood Mutiny]] works fine and you don't need: [[The_Wormwood_Mutiny|The Wormwood Mutiny]].
Fleanetha, Hey! That's the ship I was looking for! I can still make it better ;) Thanks for your input and helping me out. Please check out some things I've posted to a couple talk pages and let me know what you think. I really appreciate it! --Midwesternmermaid (talk) 21:57, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
It looks like my colleagues have chimed in with sensible answers on all the talk pages you've updated, Midwesternmermaid, and they've taken up your points already. Thanks. --Fleanetha (talk) 09:50, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Awesome! I'll check them out. --Midwesternmermaid (talk) 14:27, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Welcome! It looks like I'm coming to the party late, but if you're looking into indexing Ships of the Inner Sea, you might want to look at the index I made for Pirates of the Inner Sea (about 1/2 down the page) for a starting point. Its pretty easy to copy that set of tables, and then edit them to suit your needs. I hope you have fun indexing Golarion with us -- Cpt kirstov (talk) 03:34, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
