Yllaldo
Yllaldo the Manifester was a legendary Arcadian hero-god best known for slaying the demon lord Nolimarthos.1
Background
Yllaldo was among the most powerful hero-gods of Xopatl, and he often ventured far from his homeland to battle threats to it. When he sensed that Nolimarthos threatened Xopatl, Yllaldo traveled to the Outer Rifts and slayed the demon lord in what would become known as his greatest battle.
While dying, Nolimarthos roared a single note from his namesake song that continued to reverberate postmortem from his jawbone and threatened to wreak destruction across the Great Beyond if not stopped. Yllaldo took Nolimarthos's jawbone back to his fellow hero-gods in Xopatl to destroy it, but the note was too strong. They instead decided to seal the jawbone away in a keep, later known as Yllaldo Castle, and wait for the note's power to weaken.1

Yllaldo then created a keep near Tapláche along with a maze of tunnels beneath it, in which he hid the jawbone inside a magically sealed chamber. He then guarded it for centuries while also watching for threats from Nalmeras, and served his duty until he died near the end of the Age of Darkness.
After his death, citizens of Xopatl moved into the keep and renamed it Yllaldo Castle. Ownership changed hands repeatedly over the centuries, with the monastic Order of Yllaldo most recently taking control in 4608 AR.1 The original purpose of the tunnels and keep, and the existence of Nolimarthos' jawbone, have since been forgotten.2
