Thonis of Thirty Columns was a Iblydan hero-god of commerce and marketplaces in the city of Aelyosos. He ascended to divine power in 134 AR. His fate is unknown, though he is presumably dead.1

Temples

Upon his ascension Thonis declined to build a shrine on Aelyosos' Pantheon Hill, as was customary for new hero-gods, stating that the marketplace would forever serve as his house of worship. His original markets were destroyed by centuries of flooding to become the city's Floodmarket district.

As of 4715 AR the modern hero-god Kelksiomides, a co-ruler of Aelyosos, erected New Market in Thonis' honor as part of his program to renovate the city. Just as Thonis' original market had thirty columns, New Market does as well, with each depicting one of the exports promoted by Thonis that led to Aelyosos' prosperity.2
