Sarenrae sends her herald, the angelKohal, to the city of Gormuz in central Casmaron. She offers the city's citizens a final chance for redemption from their wickedness, but they instead turn on the herald and destroy him. Furious, Sarenrae smites the Ninshaburian city with her scimitar, destroying it completely and tearing a ragged gash in the earth that will eventually be known as the Pit of Gormuz.1
