Rebranding [Proposal closed as unaccepted]
Per the Paizo Blog, Pathfinder RPG organized play is rebranding to "Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild" (as opposed to the PFACG's "Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild"). We should probably move the RPG-related pages out of this category into Category:Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild and make that category a subcategory of this one. -Oznogon (talk) 00:04, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

- Remove the scenarios category from the season pages (i.e. Year of the Serpent), instead categorizing them in Category:Roleplaying Guild scenarios by season and their respective subcats.
- Replace all unquoted references to "Pathfinder Society Organized Play" that exclusively refer to RPG content with "Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild" or "Roleplaying Guild".
* Fleanetha created Category:Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild quests due to a stray category I left on Kobold Quarterly 17, but we could stand to use shorter category names as there won't be roleplaying guilds outside of Pathfinder Society to necessitate the differentiation. ~ User:Oznogon (talk) 02:52, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

- I am largely ambivalent. Most categories these days are generated by templates, so I don't think changing things is going to have a QoL impact.—

- Is this still a valid proposal after all the recent changes and the advent of 2E plus considering it is nearly a decade old? Or can we close it? --Fleanetha (talk) 12:31, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- Suggest closing the proposal. The broader Organized Play program rebranded again to Paizo Organized Play in the interim, there's now a separate category for PFS 2E, and PFSACG is now inactive and so less of a priority.
- At most, the subcategories and articles in Category:Pathfinder Society Organized Play could be moved up a level into Category:Paizo Organized Play and this category could be eliminated. But that feels like a separate proposal. -Oznogon (talk) 23:19, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
