Crabfield Island

Crabfield Island, called Itara by the local Garundi people, is an island in the Obari Ocean. It lies just off the coast of Geb, to the northeast of the capital Mechitar, and is one of the most isolated corners of that nation. It received its name from Captain Savian Dertruge, a Gebbite explorer who nearly lost his entire crew in 112 AR to the black crabs that live at Crabfield Point—the southern tip of the island—and serve the gongorinan qlippoth Rasping Wretch.¹²
