Dankblade Crew
The Dankblade Crew are a tribe of kobolds on Raptor Island in The Shackles who frequently trade with passing pirate crews.1
History
The Dankblade Crew were once the Dankblade Tribe before they tunneled up from the Darklands into a sea cave on the shores of Raptor Island. The Dankblades rapidly adapted to their new surroundings, noticing that between the nautical perils and pirate battles that take place near the island an abundance of interesting items regularly wash up along the island's shores. Delighted by these gifts from the Fever Sea, the tribe took to wearing nautical grab from corpses fished from the sea, renaming themselves the Dankblade Crew.1
Activities
They sell most of what they find to passing pirates, who regard them as useful vendors who are easier to trade with than rob, but the most choice items are given to the brine dragon Machazmroh. The Dankblade Crew tend to overstate their closeness with Machazmroh, telling the rest of the world that they are allies while in reality Machazmroh regards them as little more than a regular provider of trinkets.1
