The Knights of the Aeon Star is an ancient order of sword-mages headquartered in St. Sarnax monastery in Escadar on Absalom's Isle of Erran. As of 4720 AR, the only three remaining elderly knights tended to the monastery and its holdings.

The Knights were charged with the preservation of the Rite of Four Architects, a ritual prescribed by the Founding Laws of Absalom purportedly sourced from a lost Azlanti-era chapter of Abadar's holy text, the Manual of City Building. Absalom's four spell lords are charged with performing this ritual on every equinox and solstice; the ritual's purpose, or the consequences of failing to perform it, are unknown.
