Konoha

Konoha are a tengu culture and one of the few groups of non-yokai creatures who dwell within the Forest of Spirits.1

Appearance

Konoha tengu tend to be noticeably smaller than other tengu heritages. They also favour simpler clothing, and some go without clothes.1

Culture

Konoha live within the Forest of Spirits of eastern Tian Xia, where they make their homes in the trees near water and along the region's rivers. Konoha fish the rivers, and their kilns and forges are some of the only trappings of civilizations within the Forest of Spirits.1

Despite the forest's isolation, konoha are normally curious and friendly toward travelers passing through, unless they seek to interfere with the forest's spirits or settle permanently within the forest. Konoha posses a powerful hatred toward oni of Chu Ye, and descend from the trees to mercilessly butcher any they encounter.1
