Kawatengu

From PathfinderWiki

Kawatengu are amongst the rarest and most reclusive of all tengu cultures, relying on secrecy to survive.1

Appearance

Kawatengu are the tengu heritage most likely to have unusual feather colourations. Almost all tengu have black feathers similar to crows or ravens, but kawatengu often also have unusual patterns of brown or white-striped feathers.1

Culture

Kawatengu are a deeply communal and isolationist people who dwell along the rivers and waterways of many of the Successor States of fallen Imperial Lung Wa. Kawatengu generally keep themselves secret from other communities, relying on obscurity to keep themselves safe, although they sometimes harass other fishermen and river traders. However, rumours suggest that kawatengu rarely accept jobs as assassins, saboteurs, or smugglers.1
