Layilah al-Parishat is a popular member of the royal family of Kelesh and a priestess of Sarenrae.123 She has been missing since the wake of the Godsrain in 4724 AR after leading a force of Isfahi Cavalry and kara horse nomads in a seemingly failed offensive against the inhuman legions at Conqueror's Stand in Karazh.4

Relatives

Layilah is a niece of Padishah Emperor Kalish XXII1 and cousin of Deena al-Parishat, Shahiyan of Qadira.2 As early as 4617 AR, her cousin's future husband Xerbystes II, Satrap of Qadira, supported her as heir to the throne of Kelesh against the heir designate, Yaril.1

She also had the support of her father's consort and queen, Shubat, and to solidify her claim Shubat assigned Layilah to rout an army of creatures who had flocked to Conqueror's Stand after the hilt of the dead god Gorum's Sundered Blade landed at the statue's feet. However, the monstrous army proved too powerful and the offensive failed; the Cavalry was destroyed, the horse tribes were dispersed, and Layilah had not been heard from since.4
