Meta:Scythe tree
OGL creature (RESOLVED)
Scythe trees originally appeared in The Tome of Horrors Complete
and were based on material by Gary Gygax. It is unclear what their canon status is since the license changes implemented in the Pathfinder Second Edition Remaster Project. -Oznogon (talk) 23:44, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Despite originating in a third-party OGL source, scythe trees are referenced on Howl of the Wild 101, which cites OGL-licensed source Bestiary 2 235 as a reference. The Bestiary 2 description therefore appears to remain an active, non-legacy part of the canon Pathfinder campaign setting. -Oznogon (talk) 23:31, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
