Plastic is a synthetic material used in the creation of some technological items found on Golarion, particularly the Androffan wreckage of the Divinity in Numeria.12 It is also known to exist in one of the nexuses of Carcosa.3 Like metal and stone, it can be impervious to certain types of acid.4

On Golarion

Androids who escaped the wreckage of the Divinity in the Darklands, also known as Chasm androids, often used salvaged plastics to craft armor and flatware.2

Androffan technology

Many forms of Androffan technology rely on plastic, including access cards,5 autodocs,6 emergency rafts and shelters, filter masks,7 gravity suits, heavy weapon harnesses, panic suits,8 and rebirthing chambers.9

When electrified, ion tape fuses into a vastly stronger mass of plastic material. Exposing the mass to electricity again undoes the effect.10
