Razor Stair

From PathfinderWiki

The Razor Stair is a tower made entirely of books that stretches over two miles into the skies of Stygia, one of the layers of Hell.1

The books of the Razor Stair are uncountable and seemingly have no relationship in terms of themes, content or origin. A staircase, the Razor Stair, navigates its way round this towering pile of books and various landings and areas of the stair have been claimed by different uniila devils, each claiming that their specific area holds powerful secrets and priceless lore.1

The Razor Stair is dangerous not only because of its devilish inhabitants but also for its unique perils, such as book avalanches. The books themselves have razor-sharp pages that seem to hunger for the blood of mortals.1

Order of the Gate

The Razor Stair has a connection to the Universe, an interplanar portal at the top of the Razor Stair joined to another deep within the bowels of Citadel Enferac, the home of the Order of the Gate. Two uniilas, Mahshoka and Sister Drove, serve as consultants of a sort by sharing their invaluable knowledge of the Razor Stair to the Hellknight order.1

Despite having had access to the Razor Stair for centuries, the signifiers of the Order of the Gate have barely scratched the surface of what secrets lie within. Their tentative explorations have already granted them incredible infernal knowledge and access to powerful weapons once beyond mortal imaginings.1
