Dead deity?

I commented out Category:Dead deities as the text states, "However, the Oinodaemon yet lives..." Seem reasonable? --Fleanetha (talk) 00:23, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

I suppose we don't have many (any?) other creatures who are former deities, known/named, and not either dead or undead. Immortal ichors are former and maybe dead but not named nor destroyed. Arazni is named and dead but still a deity. Anything runelord related is up in the air right now. Thron, maybe? -Oznogon (talk) 00:55, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

Possible move

It is stated here that:

Should this article be moved in light of this? Since there seems to be still a long way before we could know this character's actual name, I'm not quite sure if we should move this article yet, or where it should be moved if we decide to do so now. Perhaps 'Bound Prince', since that seems to be the 'primary' name used in these pieces of flash fiction? - HTD (talk) 02:22, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Bound Prince seems good, as that name for PF's Oinodaemon has existed since the 3.5 days as a uniquely PF name --Todd Stewart (talk) 12:53, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

This note is later in the stream HTD quotes above and suggests there is a proper name still to be revealed, so I'd vote we wait patiently and move it at that point to save doing it twice. --Fleanetha (talk) 22:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

It's evident in Second Edition usage that "Oinodaemon" is no longer in use. Travel Guide 80, Gamemastery Guide 142, and GM Core 179 all use Bound Prince. Gods & Magic uses First Daemon. Considering the above, plus the OGL complications of using "Oinodaemon", I've moved this to Bound Prince and kept redirects intact. -Oznogon (talk) 05:49, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
