The blood of a dead evil deity can itself be intelligent and malicious, forming an immortal ichor.

Abilities

An immortal ichor can extract the blood of living beings to restore themselves. It can also dominate the wills of lesser creatures to serve its bidding, turning them into zombies if they die while under its control.

They can possess a host body in their pursuit of regaining their divine powers.

Ecology

Most immortal ichors are sealed away, either underground or in secure chambers.

On Golarion

As of 4716 AR, the Aspis Consortium funded experiments conducted by Professor Inphira Kramolag of Conference Z toward creating an immortal ichor, referred to as the God Fount, by extracting and consolidating divine essence from owbs.

The Red Pyramid of Osirion contains four immortal ichors extracted from a dead Apocalypse Rider.

An immortal ichor extracted by Tar-Baphon from a demigod he killed was retained in Gallowspire.

In the Great Beyond

An immortal ichor that predated the creation of Golarion was housed in an archive in Stonehome, a village in the Vault of the Onyx Citadel demiplane.

A dead demon lord formed a purple immortal ichor of liquified Nahyndrian crystal inhabits the Pool of Molten Souls inside the Soul Forge of Iz.
