Talk:Knight
Categories
Nice work User:FoiledAgain again. I had already thought about categories for elements of Knights of the Inner Sea while reading it and noticed you were doing the same now, so I'll pen my thoughts here.
- I think we should create a Category:Knightly orders which would be a subcategory of Category:Organizations and probably Category:Military organizations too
- Your new page Knight could take Category:Knightly orders too
- We could make a redirect to this page from Knightly orders and make the main page for Category:Knightly orders this one, as I see no need for a separate page now
- That might be enough actually
- Possibly we could make a Category:Knight and have that as a subcategory of Category:Inhabitants by occupation and Category:Knightly orders for individuals?
What do you think? --Fleanetha (talk) 11:18, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind words. Your thoughts on categories are similar to mine. Since "knight" as described in the book is tied to the order you're in, I was thinking individuals, like Claidius Barronmor belong as members of their group only. Their order would be part of Category:Knightly orders. Although I could make the case for tagging every individual as well - I think I ran across User:Yoda8myhead writing somewhere that we "over-categorize" (my poor summation, not his words) on purpose (compared to Wikipedia) due to our project goals. Since I'm non-committal, I'm going to start on the "no-brainer" stuff - we can always add more detail later. --FoiledAgain (talk)

My main concern is directly referencing spell resistance mechanics. --Oznogon (talk) 01:41, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the fresh eyes - I would never have "seen" that. -- FoiledAgain (talk) 14:15, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
