The tobongo, or Mwangi treant, is a tropical varietal of its northern cousin native to the Mwangi Expanse. They are towering arboreals whose sap afflicts beings composed of flesh with the barkflesh curse, which transforms tissue into woody bark and can transform creatures into trees or arboreals.
