Welcome & Thanks

Hi, welcome to PathfinderWiki! Thanks for your edit to the PathfinderWiki talk:Scope of the project page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Yoda8myhead (Talk) 19:55, 24 April 2009

If you go to my userpage, I listed all of the in world books from gods and magic, not sure if you want to add them to your books project, they're at the bottom of my page....- Cpt kirstov 00:32, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Reworked Maps

Hi Aeakett, Any chance you could throw together a rough outline of how to make your nifty maps? I'd love to try my hand at them. --brandingopportunity 22:57, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about the reversion on the Iobaria page- I didn't know how to merge it and I'd just finished doing about 10 minutes of work myself at the same time you were editing. I'm going to see if I can merge in what you did.

Congrats!

Congratulations on your successful nuptials. Take a well earned break; we'll do fine without you in the meantime. -yoda8myhead 18:20, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

Wait, you just got married? Congratulations! I just married at the end of May myself. --brandingopportunity 06:27, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Bots

Pardon the interruption, but would you mind pointing me towards information on creating a bot? I've looked around, but have not come across any. Many thanks. --brandingopportunity 06:29, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

Just wanted to thank you and your bots for cleaning up my trail of destruction. TheEldritchMrShiny 20:20, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

Apologies

Just wanted to apologize for messing up so much over the past week. Legal text almost invites one to skim over the tough bits, and, unfortunately, that's what happened, causing me to miss some of the important parts. If there's anything I can do to help clean up, just send me a message, and I'll put it at the top of my to-do list. TheEldritchMrShiny 17:45, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: double-click to edit

There is a user preference to enable double-click editing whereby you can double-click anywhere on a page to edit it. It seems to work fine when I switch my skin back to monaco, but doesn't work in oasis. This might be a wikia-wide problem, but regardless, it's really annoying. —yoda8myhead 21:16, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Easier on the eyes?

It's a little better, but I honestly think it's partly a layout issue as opposed to something specific in our skin. While looking around at other projects to see how they're coping with the forced skin change, I was running into the same issue. But thanks for the simpler background! It does look good. —yoda8myhead 17:49, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Images

There are a lot more than that still missing, I'm afraid.

As the majority of images on the project are uploaded under the Community Use Policy, I simply checked Category:Community Use Policy images, and began pulling in what was absent. It's something I plan to do whenever I have a bit of downtime from my homework. Unless somebody beats me to it, of course; once all the images are restored I'll have to start adding actual content again. Heaven forbid! ;D -- Heaven's Agent 00:51, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

A New User: An Offer of Help

Bodhisattva 03:30, 17 November 2010 (UTC): Hello! I am new to the Pathfinder Wiki. Is there any way that I can help you to contribute? I have a fair amount of experience with wikis and am well-versed in wiki-code, so I may be able to help out with templates and such—I administrate on another wiki. Brandingopportunity offered me some suggestions on content to add, but I think I'd prefer to get started on the code side of things before delving into content. Can you see a need for someone who knows wiki-code to help out?

Demoniac PrC

Could you ask your bot please to do 10 levels of Demoniac PrC please and the Parent sub categories? Thanks--Fleanetha 23:20, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the Invite

Don't know how I hadn't stumbled across this wiki; I think Google pointed me at the wikia one. I do appreciate the gentle way that you let me know my efforts were largely wasted over there.  :) The nice thing is that I can still cut and paste the code over here, so the work is not completely lost.

Incidentally, am I okay with the images that I've been uploading of PFS covers? Copyright-wise, I mean? I just assumed that since others had done it before, I was okay to do it again.

Me, I'm down in Toronto. Also trying to survive the heat wave. I'm a teacher, and have the summer off, but we've no A/C, so I'm teaching summer school so that I can stay sane (and cool).  :)

Just a suggestion; I don't want to take the liberty myself. If the top Google hit is constantly up for grabs between the old wikia and here, it may be worth junking the splash page over there and just putting a giant "WE'VE MOVED," followed by a link to this wiki.

Time Lines

My dear fellow subject, might I draw your esteemed attention to the following conversation where I am battling two hardened republicans who see little use of monarchy, etc., etc. Forum:Timeline of rulers. Any help on instigating the two types of formatting would be much appreciated please. --Fleanetha (talk) 19:40, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Nominated Articles

Thanks for the kind words. I've been meaning to do a better job making suggestions for both FA and DYK - I can only imagine how much time you take to pick out interesting tidbits and articles. I'll do a search for some images for knight that fit. I appreciate a fresh eye on what it takes to improve articles. -- FoiledAgain (talk) 00:43, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Reuse your Images

Hi, i'm managing an italian website that translate (and sometime rearrange) articles from here, (i just write here to do so some years ago), i want to know if there is the possibility to reuse your map and images for my article, and if yes how to do, i'm not too much practice in wiki but we are using the mediawiki 1.22 so if is possible i think to create an system similar to yours here.

DYK 36/37

FYI, I'm not sure how the DYKs work, but I saw a redlink on the front page for DYK 37 and saw DYK 36 had been overwritten with new items, so I just copied that text to DYK 37. --Oznogon (talk) 01:07, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
