First Mother Vassath Shethagri is the naga ruler of the nation of Nagajor. Vassath is a royal naga descended from a long line of naga queens who have ruled Nagajor for millennia, claiming their heritage originates from the goddess Nalinivati who once ruled the nation. Vassath rules from the city of Zom Kullan and it is claimed that it is only through her rituals and those of the other royal family members that the volcano that Zom Kullan is built around is kept from erupting.
