Clockwork steeds are clockwork constructs designed by engineers to replace horses, and are capable of carrying their riders for days if required. Unlike normal horses, they have no personality, cannot form bonds with their riders, and obey their orders without question.1[citation needed]

Clockwork chargers

Clockwork chargers are equipped for enhancing mounted charges, sometimes doing so without the need of a rider, due to their pivoted latch large enough to support a lance that allows even those who lack proficiency with a lance to use one effectively.1[citation needed]

On Golarion

The Kellid Skelf tribe leader Ikina Cragstorm employed a clockwork steed near the Dead Mount of Numeria some time around 4714 AR.2
