The darkvision spell temporarily provides the target with the darkvision capability of seeing in darkness for up to 60 feet.[1] The spell is particularly favoured by explorers of the Darklands.[2]

More powerful variants

There are more powerful versions of this spell, such as communal darkvision,[3] which allows more than one recipient to gain the benefit; and greater darkvision,[4] which extends the range of darkvision to 120 feet.
