First Speaker Dhauken Tor is nomarch of the Wise Quarter of Absalom12 and administrator of its Avatectura museum.1

Rivalries
Tor engages in many intense rivalries in Absalom's community of historians, from his bitter public dispute with prominent historian Rogren Sphairo, scion lord of House Menhemes,14 to his petty corrections of exhibits by Sanloria Percota, curator of the relatively small Westgate Heritage Museum.5 He views his role as protector of Absalom's true history, and his dispute with Sphairo in particular is so intense that violence between them seems to be inevitable.1
Background
Prior to being elected to the Wise District's council, known as the Wise Council, Tor served as an intern for the Avatectura museum.16

In 4719 AR during the Pathfinder Society's annual Grand Convocation, the Sennight Star broadsheet published an essay by Tor titled "A Society in Flux" describing its recent history.7
Tor authored a short essay on necromancy titled "The Nature of Evil".8
