Ganhil is a Vudrani human and, as of 4725 AR, a Swordmaster for the Monastery of Unbreaking Waves on Wavebreak Haven in Jalmeray.

Appearance

Ganhil has wild black hair and ice blue eyes. At the Six Schools' Convocation in 4725 AR, he wore a gold-red kurta and a dupatta that was dappled with waves.

Background

Ganhil was one of the first students of the Monastery of Unbreaking Waves, enrolling shortly after the school was recovered in 4718 AR. He was selected to represent the Unbreaking Waves at the Challenge of Sky and Heaven, but was unable to participate due to a quadruple disqualification that ended the Challenge early.

The fallout from that event led him to focus on developing new weapon techniques, and as of 4725 AR he had developed a fighting style that was popular with the current generation of Unbreaking Waves students. His fighting style was so renowned that some martial artists forwent joining the Monastery of Untwisting Iron to instead learn from him.

During his training, Ganhil developed his own ritual called retreat among the rains. He also served as a representative of the Monastery at the Six Schools' Convocation, which was held in Nerosyan, Mendev, and hosted by the Academy of the Reclamation.
