Greater hell hound

Greater hell hounds,² also known as Nessian warhounds, are a more dangerous variant of hell hounds kept by Asmodeus in vast kennels beneath the Catafalque in Nessus.¹ All are clad in flaming barding and perfectly loyal to Asmodeus: once given a task, they do not quit until either the task is complete or they are dead, pursuing Asmodeus' enemies across Hell and beyond.³^{[citation needed]}
