Patron themes

  • Baba Yaga teaches her witches to transfer spirits into inanimate objects and freeze their foes.4
  • A Choir Politic patron teaches their witches are taught that mortals are stronger together than apart.5
  • Cobyslarni, headmaster and host of the Traveling Academy of Cobyslarni, teaches his witches to overload foes' minds with information while keeping their own open.6
  • A Devourer of Decay represents the inevitable rot of living things that paves the way for new life, and instill the importance in this cycle in their witches.7
  • A Faith's Flamekeeper, or fervor patron, reassures their witches and gives them the strength to bring others to the witch's cause.8
  • The Inscribed One, also known as a rune patron, holds influence over symbols, books, and knowledge.8
  • The Mosquito Witch has followers in Shimmerford, although few would be foolish enough to attempt to draw her attention. Her witches have the power to control insects and arthropods.9
  • A Paradox of Opposites gives their witches power derived from reconciling the seemingly incompatible duality of opposite concepts, such as light and dark or life and death.5
  • The Resentment patron, also known as a curse patron, empowers their witches to thwart the efforts of their foes and undermine those who stand in their way.8
  • A Ripple in the Deep brings their witches lessons from the unfathomable depths of the ocean.7
  • A Silence in Snow patron, or winter patron, reflects the frozen lands of the world, cruel and dangerous to those not prepared to face them.8
  • A Spinner of Threads, or fate patron, grants their witches the ability to see glimpses of the future.8
  • A Starless Shadow, or night patron, lives in the shadows and holds power over darkness and dreams.8
  • The Unseen Broker, or pacts patron, deal in promises and bargains, and no lesson is ever given for free.105
  • A Whisper of Wings teaches the controlled chaos of the open sky.7
  • A Wilding Steward, or wild patron, commands the powers of nature, wild and untouched by civilization.8
