Meta:Inevitable
Legacy content
Inevitables are creatures created for another game and used in Pathfinder under the OGL.1 Due to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game's relicensing as part of the Pathfinder Second Edition Remaster Project, such creatures are unlikely to appear in Pathfinder canon content after the Remaster. Mentions of them in articles about aeons and related creatures were likewise removed in Remaster works like Monster Core that updated existing related creatures.
Inevitables are referenced in the GM Core glossary on page 326, but this is apparently in error pending official clarification. -Oznogon (talk) 00:20, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

So we transitioned aeons out of the role of neutral and into lawful neutral, because I found the idea of seeking balance (aka seeking overwhelming stability) to be fundamentally lawful and an excellent opposition from the proteans, which seek imbalance and entropy and constant change. And because that would leave the neutral role to the psychopomps, which are much better suited to that role." James Jacobs. (August 9, 2021).
