Nasurgeths, commonly called nightwaves, are the most powerful of the known nightshades.12
Appearance
A nasurgeth appears as a sleek, pitch black shark with numerous glowing red eyestalks and thousands of teeth.1 It is 100 feet long and weighs 200 tons.2
Ecology
The waters in which a nasurgeth swims become as cold, dark, and heavy as the deepest oceanic trenches. Although the nasurgeth is most at home in deep oceans, it never needs to breathe and can fly above the waves if necessary.2
Habitat
Nasurgeths swim in rivers of entropy in the Chasm of Shadow that separates the Negative Energy Plane and the Shadow Plane.3
