Nokkaichi (pronounced nohk-KAI-chee)1 is a fishing city located in the nation of Chu Ye.23 It is rich with aquatic life due to the presence of a magical cold-water reef full of kami, similar in nature to the Forest of Spirits on land. The reef's kami have become hostile to fishers due to overfishing and the presence of oni.3
