Plaza of Sky
The Plaza of Sky—located in the eastern first tier of Urgir in the Hold of Belkzen, surrounding the Great Palace just inside the city's eastern gate—is the most intact remnant of the conquered dwarven Sky Citadel of Koldukar.1
The open-air plaza features sheets of marble stone hundreds of yards long that bear tile-mosaic depictions of dwarven life within the Darklands before the start of their Quest for Sky. Scenes include battles against ropers, cave worms, and orcs.
The plaza's artworks are among the only untouched and preserved remnants of Koldukar to survive in Urgir. Many have been defaced or destroyed by orcs or earthquakes since Koldukar was conquered in -3708 AR.21
