Talk:Tiluatchek
Conflict
Apparently there's another intellect devourer named Tiluatchek, a 9th level wizard inhabiting a noble's body in Magnimar and leading the Midnight Dawn conspiracy. Any idea if these are supposed to be the same creature, and how to deal with the discrepancy? The Vizir (talk) 10:43, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- This does appear to be a conflict. Both sources are Tier 2 sources; Magnimar, City of Monuments is newer.
- In Lost Cities of Golarion: CE intellect devourer sorcerer 12 with male Ulfen fighter 5/barbarian 5 host body
- In Magnimar, City of Monuments: CE intellect devourer wizard 9 in the host body of "an eccentric alchemist and poet named Vumeshki" --Oznogon (talk) 17:50, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- Good spot and looking at the sources I'd say the creature Tiluatchek is the same in both sources, as the human Vumeshki is mentioned in both sources as one of its victims. So policy states that the more recent of the two publications takes priority, see PathfinderWiki:Canon policy. In this case, it is Magnimar, City of Monuments. I think it does no harm to add a {{Conflict}} marker to the conflicting areas (class in this case) too as otherwise, it could be very confusing to someone who only owned Lost Cities of Golarion for instance. I won't jump in and do this in case one of you wants to practise this type of editing but, if you are unsure, let me know and I'll tweak the page. --Fleanetha (talk) 13:52, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Resolved the conflict, added {{conflict}}, and created Talk:Tiluatchek/Conflicts. Thanks, User:Fleanetha! --Oznogon (talk) 00:28, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
