Queen Aspexia I was ruler of Cheliax as of 4137 AR. She was the daughter of Aspex the Even-Tongued and mother of Prince Haliad I. Aspexia I was occupied by internal matters during her reign, leaving Haliad I free to attempt and fail to besiege Absalom in 4137 AR. He subsequently annexed Khari and the Arch of Aroden for Cheliax in the same year, giving the empire control over the Inner Sea, then established the colony of Sargava in 4138 AR.
