At the Six Schools' Convention called by the Academy of the Reclamation, Murrou served as a guest lecturer. He prepared a presentation about the use of sympathetic magic, hoping to use located Sarkorian relics to uncover lost examples of their kind. He also developed his own type of magical item, the mnemonic feather, which he gifted to friends or favored students at the Convocation.1
