Olakapuna

Olakapuna (pronounced oh-laa-kaa-POO-nah) is an island in the Rendah Pulu region of Minata, off the southeastern coast of Valash Raj. Olakapuna and the adjacent island Lakapuna contain well-preserved sites of the historical empire of Taumata that are stoutly defended by the island's Tau Nui inhabitants, many of whom claim direct descent from the Taumatan people. Rumors suggest these clans retain invaluable magic and knowledge forgotten elsewhere.✝

The settlement of Owairua (pronounced oh-wai-ROO-aa) is located on the island's northeastern shore.
