Shibobeka Islands

From PathfinderWiki

The Shibobeka Islands, also known as the Magkasintahan, are the largest islands in the Atas Pulu region of the Wandering Isles of Minata. They are a series of islands formed from the remains of Mount Shibotai when it erupted in -2524 AR during the Age of Ashes. The Shibobekas are home to various tribes of wayangs who believe that their emergence from the Netherworld coincided with this colossal eruption. The most central of the Shibobeka Islands is made of the remains of the volcano's crater and contains the wayang city of Inahiyi.1

The two large islands to the north and south of Mount Shibotai are known in local legends as Tiago and Sambac, for their resemblance to two people lying on their sides and after a legend of two forbidden lovers who were transformed into mountains while seeking help from spirits. The volcano in the embrace between them was said to represent the fire of their undying love.2
