Mount Shibotai
The Shibobekas, a group of islands that are remnants of Mount Shibotai.
Mount Shibotai, known to locals as Mount Duyan, is a volcano in the Atas Pulu region of the Minatan archipelago in southeastern Tian Xia.1
History
Mount Shibotai was formed when the deity Hei Feng struck down the underworld dragon Ihoblyqaerth to halt the dragon's rampage against sea dragons that had also devastated Minata.23
It erupted in -24 IC, covering the continent in ash, darkening the skies for months and forming the Shibobeka Islands, a ring of islands at the northern end of Minata. Inhabitants feared it might herald a repeat of the catastrophes that caused the Age of Ashes almost 3,000 years before, though these fears eventually proved unfounded.45
