The Severed Spiral is a circle of 43 standing stones surrounding seven dolmens located deep within the Estrovian Forest of Mendev. The western half of the circle's stones are made of dark, rough-hewn basalt and other dark-colored stones, while the eastern stones are made of white, smooth dolomite.

The circle is the only permanent holy site of the Children of Balance, an organization of religious two-headed trolls led by Romrix who worship deities that most closely embody the duality and dichotomy of their lives—especially Pharasma, Nethys, and Gozreh.
