Lord Som Heu Wa was the last lord of the territory that would become the modern kingdom of Kwanlai. In 4606 AR, Kwanlai was a mere territory of Imperial Lung Wa, used as a dumping ground for the empire's unruly tengu citizens. Lord Som Heu Wa ruled the territory at the time of the Feather and Starlight Rebellion. This uprising was led by followers of Desna and Hei Feng and succeeded in capturing Lord Som Heu Wa and forcing his abdication. The tengu of Kwanlai would surely have faced horrific retributions had Imperial Lung Wa not collapsed later that same year.
